Why It Matters

Think Pink is Belgium’s national breast cancer organization, dedicated to improving the lives of breast cancer patients and their families through awareness, support, and research initiatives.

Why It Matters

1 in 8

Did you know that 1 in 8 women, and about 1 in 800 men, will face breast cancer in their lifetime?

Raising Awareness

Early detection saves lives — when caught early, breast cancer has a 95% cure rate.

Healthy Lifestyle

Stay active, eat balanced, limit alcohol, and maintain a healthy weight to support prevention and reduce risk.

Breast Cancer in Europe

Breast Cancer in Europe

Every year in Europe, 500,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer, and 125,000 lose their lives to it. Yet survival rates can differ by as much as 30%, depending on where a woman lives — and this is simply unacceptable. Think Pink Europe works to bridge the gap in women’s health care across Europe and ensure equal access to prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for all.

Today, 25 organizations are already part of the Think Pink Europe community, united in their mission to create a future where every woman, no matter where she lives, has the same chance to survive and thrive.

Why Pink Duck Race Ambassadors Are Essential

Ambassadors are vital to the success of the Pink Duck Race. Working Together with Local Sports Events and Teams

The Pink Duck Race joins forces with local sports events and teams — with a special focus on women’s sports, as well as men’s teams that share our values. Together, we use the power of sport and their community networks to spread awareness and unity in the fight against breast cancer. Every match, every cheer, and every shared moment becomes a symbol of strength and love.

Find out how the Pink Duck Race is making a difference — one voice at a time!

“I’m floating on a pink cloud right now — never expected this. It’s been over a year of nothing but bad news, and now this. It’s a gift in the middle of a dark time. I haven’t stopped smiling.”

Tinneke Daniels, winner of Pink Duck Race 2025

“Exactly on 25/06/12, I discovered and immediately treated my breast cancer. I won that race thanks to events like these. I am definitely in this.”

Lee-an Garber

“Wonderful initiative, especially since I have had breast cancer. Keep supporting, keep believing, because so much can already be done, and many people are being cured, for which we are grateful.”

Daisy Boomgaert

“Creating awareness for breast cancer is very important, as this can lead to a tendency for more check-ups and screenings.”
